 Growing up in the Stratford area, I developed a love for music studying piano and violin. With an education in industrial design at Carleton University and furnituremaking at Sheridan College, piano technology brings together my passions. I received my training at the highly regarded School of Piano Technology at the University of Western Ontario. Piano tuning, repair, regulation, voicing and rebuilding were all part of this intensive study. A summer apprenticeship at the Tanglewood Music Center in Massachusetts, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, was an invaluable addition to my training.
